Bullet Point
- LiteRadio 3 upgrades with BETAFPV self-developed Customized LiteRadio System. Pilots can directly operate the Joystick Calibration and Firmware Update on the radio transmitter, which is more convenient for the beginner racer to operate.
- Equipped with a built-in 2000 mAh 1S battery, LiteRadio 3 can work up to 15 hours without an external module, bringing an excellent endurance performance.
- Comes with a built-in charging module, LiteRadio 3 supports USB charging which is more convenient to use. Meanwhile, it designs a Low-Power warning to indicate a low battery. It indicates a low battery and needs to be re-charged if the blue light flashes slowly and the buzzer beeps continuously.

External TX Module
Reserving a nano bay on the backside, LiteRadio 3 supports an external module. BETAFPV ELRS Nano TX Module, which features a high refresh rate, ultra-low latency, and long-range, is strongly recommended to LiteRadio 3.
Note: The external modules should support the CRSF protocol when using other brands. If you are ready to install the TBS external nano module, the TBS nano module case size should be 64*42*25mm, the thicker one of the retrofit cases.
Improvements on LiteRadio 3
Compared with LiteRadio 2 SE, the LiteRadio 3 is equipped with a 2000mAh 1S battery, bringing an excellent endurance performance up to 15 working hours without an external module. Reserving a nano bay on the backside, it supports an external module for use with ELRS Nano TX Module, which supports CRSF protocol. Moreover, the LiteRadio 3 gimbal is newly updated with an accurate potentiometer and adjustable stick ends.

BETAFPV Configurator
BETAFPV Configurator is a utility designed to simplify updating, configuring, and tuning the radio transmitter.
Download address: https://github.com/BETAFPV/BETAFPV_Configurator/releases
The function of the BETAFPV Configurator is listed below.
- Basic radio controller setup, like mode switch, turn on/off RF modules.
- Full function of the ExpressLRS configuration, like outpower, packet rate, etc.
- Channel mixer for fix wing drones.
- Firmware update.
DO NOT power on the transmitter first and connect it to the PC. The USB port is invalid in this situation.

Note: Switching internal protocol is only available for the Frsky version radio transmitter. ExpressLRS version can only switch to the external TX module.
To change protocols and TX module, here are the steps:
- Power the radio transmitter off;
- Press and hold the BIND button while powering the radio transmitter back on;
- Then the flash color and times of the LED before buzzer alarms will change, according to the tables above.

Great radio. Had a small problem with the software upgrade of the radio. Email the tech support team and found out it was a faulty radio. They sent a new one straight away. Solved the problem. A great response from a great team. Very happy with the product .
Good as spare ELRS radio for traveling. No problems with connectivity. Feels good in the hands but too bulky for me
I have put about 4 hours on this controller coming from the literadio 2 I feel as though I can leave my review. This is an upgrade in so many ways from the literadio 2 se. The bind setup buttons are much easier to access and press. This controller is great for indoors due to the sensitivity in the gimbals. If I were to pitch forward very gently with the literadio 2, I would sometimes get jitters on the quad due to the gimbals. The literadio 3 corrects this for me. Very smooth sticks. Having a lanyard hook may sound like a small thing, for me this is very important! It does take some getting used to the latching button instead of a switch for arm/disarm but you can do some interestingly smooth landings with it. This is a great controller, nice long lasting battery. If you have any thoughts on if you should upgrade to this from the literadio 2 se, take my advice and do it!
I really like this radio, it feels solid, the 3 position and 2 position switches are really good, it feels solid in your hands, not too small, and overall it's been of good quality. Even the gimbals feel better than a couple radios at a higher price range, and if you want you can upgrade them to the hall gimbals too if you like.
That said, I can't give it a 5 star because on my copy of the FRSKY version of the radio, I'm not able to get into the bootloader mode, no matter what I've tried, and I've watched videos and have followed the instructions and every variation I can think of, but it just goes into the gimbal calibration mode and not the bootloader, so I can't update the firmware on it.
I think the ELRS version doesn't have this issue from what I've seen but I've seen a couple of other people with the FRSKY one that have the same issue of not being able to put the radio into dfu mode.
It's my first radio and I've only tried it in SkyDive, but I think it's great.
